Welcome to ISII

Implementation Sciences International, Inc. (ISII) is a research-based, non-profit organization providing training for mental health professional in Parent Management Training – the Oregon Model (PMTO).

ISII is an affiliate organization of Oregon Social Learning Center (OSLC) based in Eugene, Oregon. OSLC scientists have over nearly four decades developed and tested a theory-based program to treat and prevent conduct and associated behavior problems in children and adolescents. During the last decade the focus has shifted to developing and evaluating the implementation of the PMTO intervention. ISII is the vehicle through which we bring an efficacious evidence-based treatment program from our research institution into the “real world.” ISII has formed a network of clinical and prevention scientists and teachers who are committed to extending PMTO to families with children and adolescents with behavioral problems.

The network comprises of professionals from North and South America and Europe. They represent the disciplines of social work, clinical psychology, counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, and school psychology. They all apply PMTO to help youngsters in families with problems ranging from delinquency to substance abuse.

ISII has trained over 150 professionals, who in turn have trained over 300 professionals from all over the world. Our mentors are currently training professionals in Michigan and the Netherlands, as wells as mentoring administrators and clinicians in PMTO and PMTO-associated methods of prevention and treatment in Iceland, Canada, and Norway.

PMTO is listed on SAMSHA’s list of effective programs.
