Eyvind Elgesem

Eyvind Elgesem serves many roles in ISII: Associate Director, Board member, Certified PMTO Specialist and Certified PMTO Mentor.

He is a Social Work Professional and an Approved Peer Supervisor by the Norwegian Association of Social Workers. He is also a certified Master Practitioner and NLP trainer. As a Social Worker, Eyvind has worked with families, at-risk youth and drug users. He has also served as director of social work agencies and treatment facilities. From 2002–2006 he managed the NIDA funded PMTO Implementation Study in Norway.

He was involved in early HIV prevention and served as trainer with the WHO Program Counseling in HIV Prevention. He has trained in NLP training programs, and coached leaders and groups of professionals. He is a member of Interaction Consulting Group, a Norwegian network of leadership coaches.

Eyvind has played an active part in revising national and international Social Work Codes of Ethics and has served on Social Work Ethics Committees. Eyvind is married to Clinical Psychologist Mona Duckert and has fathered 5 children.
