Laura Rains, MSW, LCSW

Laura Rains is a certified PMTO Mentor at Implementation Sciences International, Inc.

Laura began her career at Oregon Social Learning Center as a Research Assistant in the 1990's while she was pursuing her Master's degree at the University of Oregon.

Dr. Marion S. Forgatch quickly turned Laura on to therapy. Laura has extensive experience with families, sibling groups and parent groups. She does curriculum development and is a co-author of Fidelity of Implementation (FIMP) rating system, an important tool to access competent adherence to PMTO protocol.

She has conducted PMTO training programs in Iceland, Norway and the US. In addition to her work with OSLC and ISII, she works on the Oregon coast with community mental health agencies and the Department of Corrections.
